About Us

Head Start Coaching was created from a shared passion for nurturing young talent in a fun, friendly environment. It all began when Liam, while at university, discovered his love for coaching children and saw how early exposure to sport could spark confidence, teamwork, and joy.

During this time, he met Holly, who shared his enthusiasm for sport and early childhood education. Their bond grew into a shared vision: to positively impact children’s lives through playful, age-appropriate coaching. After graduating, Liam founded Head Start Coaching, offering programmes for children aged 2–12. 

In 2025, with the arrival of their second child, Elsie, Liam and Holly chose to refocus Head Start to specialise solely in sport for under 5s. Now led by Holly, Head Start Coaching reflects her passion and deep knowledge of Early Years development. She has carefully tailored the programme to be both fun and developmentally enriching for this specific age group.

Liam continues to support Holly with his expertise in sport development while launching a new venture, Next Level Sport Development. If you're looking for sport provision for older children, Liam would love to help through his new company.

Our philisophy is to create a fun friendly environment where children can confidently learn and discover skills. The programme has been created by qualified P.E teachers, sports coaching scientists and early years specialists. 

We offer a range of fun and engaging programmes for children of all ages. Our Nursery Classes provide a nurturing environment for early learning, while our exciting Holiday Camps keep kids entertained and active during school breaks.
